Champions of Respect Awards terms and conditions
We want to make sure that the Champions of Respect Awards honour the young people who have most shown respect. The terms and conditions are simply to help that to happen.
- Nominations can be accepted online via the Champions of Respect website at www.championsofrespect.org or by using the published Nomination Form.
- Anybody can nominate any individual or group of individuals aged 10 to 25 by filling out the appropriate form or website. Please note that individuals may nominate themselves or a relative.
- There is no limit to the number of nominations you can make.
- Nominations for the 2006 Champions of Respect awards should reach the Evangelical Alliance by 30 September.
- Nomination forms and any supporting materials will not be returned. We regret that receipt of nominations cannot be acknowledged.
- Support material is welcome, however any documentation attached to the nomination form should be copies as none will be returned.
- The winner of each age category will receive £250 plus £250 will be given to a charity or good cause of their choice. Should the wining entry be a group, the prize will be divided between all applicable members of the group.
- The overall winner will also receive the Anthony Walker Memorial Prize.
- The Evangelical Alliance accepts no responsibility for failure to submit nominations by the stated deadline, for incomplete nominations or those lost in delivery or due to problems with the internet, etc. Proof of completion is not proof of delivery.
- The Evangelical Alliance reserves the right to exclude any nominee at any time at its sole discretion.
- The selection of the winning candidates will be made by a panel selected by the Evangelical Alliance. The winners and runners up will be announced at the Alliance’s Temple Address in central London on 15 November 2006.
- Should the candidate reach the final stage of the selection procedure, the Evangelical Alliance may request further information and documentation concerning the candidate’s nomination.
- The Evangelical Alliance will only contact those candidates that have been entered into the final shortlist.
- The nominee and nominator give all consents necessary for the Evangelical Alliance to produce publicity materials based on the nomination and other materials provided (including photographs), and agree to participate without financial reward in interviews and related publicity, which may be used by the Alliance in any form in the media worldwide.
- The Evangelical Alliance may, at its discretion, change the Award Category for which any nomination is made.
- All decisions made by the Awards Panel are final in every situation, as are those made by Evangelical Alliance in all matters relating to the Champions of Respect Awards, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entry to the Champions of Respect Awards is deemed acceptance of these rules and agreement to be bound by them. The Evangelical Alliance reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online at www.championsofrespect.org
