Dan Burke & Rachel Gardner 

Rachel Gardner (29) Rachel is a sex education worker for a London charity called Regeneration, and Dan Burke (24), a youthworker with a church and charity called Ignite Trust in Harrow, North London. Together they presented No Sex Please, We’re Teenagers, a TV series which ran on BBC2 for three weeks in September 2005 about the Romance Academy, a five month project supporting and mentoring twelve young people as they challenged themselves and their community cultures with an exploration of the sexual abstinence lifestyle. The programme was a hit, and they continued to be as excited about helping young people as ever.

Katei KirbyKatei Kirby

Katei Kirby is Chief Executive Officer of The African and Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA), and the first woman to hold this role. Katei is an ordained minister and pastored the Wesleyan Holiness Church in Greenwich before becoming ACEA's CEO. She has an MA in Marketing Management and was at one time head of Southwark Council’s Communications and Marketing Department, she is also visiting marketing and communications lecturer at London Metropolitan University. 

 

Sarah StevensSarah Stevens

Sarah Stevens is Social Responsibility Officer for the Evangelical Alliance, a role which involves working with other social action agencies to ensure that church members can access resources and expertise to help them become more effective in their community engagement. She is also involved with the resourcing team for SoulintheCity London. Sarah works part-time for her local church, co-ordinating the work with 0-14 year olds, which allows her to indulge her child-like side on a regular basis! Sarah has a passion to see the younger generation live radical lives for Jesus from an early age, and she is encouraged by what God is doing in churches throughout the UK growing children and young people with a robust and infectious faith.

 
Steve UppalSteve Uppal

Steve Uppal was born in Wolverhampton in 1974. Steve worked as a youth worker for 15 years and has organised many short term missions. He is a key community organiser for Wolverhampton and specialises in training and empowering pastors in India, Poland and Mauritius. In November 2000 he began work as Associate Minister of All Nations Christian Centre in Wolverhampton and in 2001 took on the role as Pastor.
