Ailidh has had a heart for Rwanda for several years. She took part in a group visit to the country with ‘Comfort Rwanda’ and was constantly talking and reaching out to the children and orphans.  She preached at the Solace Ministries Christmas youth meeting to around 400 young people. She helped her school raise hundreds of pounds for the people of Rwanda, gave a talk at her primary school and has just given a talk at her secondary school.  After a recent fundraising day when she worked on the widows craft stall, she wrote the report for the local newspaper which was printed in full.  She prays daily for the Rwandans and is saving up her pocket money to buy them a cow. Ailidh with Goat

Her school raised £667.12 for Rwanda. Many widows and orphans in Rwanda were deeply touched by her love and ask after her frequently. Her whole primary school and her class at secondary school have gained an insight into Rwanda and the need to love and help the people there.

She has selflessly and consistently thought of the widows and orphans of Rwanda and how to help them. Through her prayers, personal giving, love, talks and example she has shown them how special they are and shown people here how a little can help a lot even from a child.
