The Champions of Respect Awards highlight young people aged 10 to 25 who are making a positive impact in their communities. Despite the bad press so often seen in the media, thousands of young people across the UK demonstrate what respect really means through the difference they make to the lives of others around them.

Champions of Respect Awards are relaunching bigger and better for 2008 / 09.

Nominations will open early July 2008 so please hold on to your ideas for nominations until then - it will be worth it.    Watch this space!

We are looking forward to hearing the stories of the exciting and positive things young people are  doing where they are.  It is never too early to get thinking about who you could nominate.

Why Respect? Celeb Zone

"Respect is who you are not what you have
We only respect our neighbour when we respect ourselves
Respect means that what we say about people is really important
Respect is a state of mind as much as a responsibility of the state"
